17th is Jim's birthday! 20th is Vivien's....and 23rd is Yee Sin's....and mine falls on the 16th of January...

My classmates brought everyone to a restaurant to celebrate. We all thought it is for Jim...But when the cake came out...it is for us....

It is really something guys....I really appreciate it and I believe every January birthday babes are thinking the same~! Thank you guys so much...I really had fun!

Hey guys! Now still on my Website Design 2 assignment and I am sharing some beautiful website with you all! Screenshots some art that is really nice.

1,

This is a Japanese website I found in FWA. The art direction is really nice. Although no colors but you won't be bored to death because the visual drawings are really nice!

Using letters to form animals. SWEET!

A very vintage feeling, mood and colors. It does bring back memories huh? Well for this website the colors and visual both are attractive. Even the interaction part is also well designed.

Love to colors, love the art style, love the graphics!

This website really brings out the fantasy of a person. The colors and the graphics is something like imaginations and dreams. A really nice piece of art work. I personally really like the art directions.

Love how the simple visual interacts with people. The colors matches perfectly and it is not complicated but still pretty at the same time. A really good and attractive way to serve people.

This is something I really like and I bet all children will like it. It is something like a pop up book style.

The design is really nice and fun to see!

Suitable for all ages!

WD2 Competitors Websites and Analysis

Hey everyone.
Now am having my web design 2 and m project is "handling" Mcdonald's website.
And so I did some analysis and research on the competitors website.

First, A&W.

The thing I first found out about this website that is different from Mcdonald's website is that there is a " Find an outlet" button which I can't find it in Mcdonald's website. For me I think this is a previlage for the company and it will me much easier for the people to find out the location of the restaurant.

Other than doing just delivering...there is catering! But Mcdonald's only in charge on delivering. And there are more informations about the whole delivering and catering.

Second, KFC.

In KFC website I found something that is quite hard to find in Mcdonald's website or not there.

There is always a "home" and "contact us" button on the top right corner which you can't find it in Mcdonald's website because they do not have "contact us".

Another thing that Mcdonald's doesn't have is the "join us" page.

This allows the members to get latest information easily from KFC which also brings big big privilage for KFC.

Third, Carl's Jr.

In Carl's Jr website you can also see on the top right hand corner is the search bar and the "sign up" button. The thing that is different from KFC and A&W is that it is placed on the header where you could always sees it. This also made everything easier and faster.

But the bad thing and Carl's Jr website is that there are too many informations everywhere and it makes everything quite complicated and hard to find or concentrate on the informations.

Forth, Burger King.

In Burger King's website there is something more on it's header. There is a "faq" and "careers" button. This allows people to stay in contact more easily and getting information more clearly. Having the " careers " button allow people to get more information and oputunities about the work.

But the bad thing about the website is its design. There are too many squarish parts and it will seem too boring for children.

That's all for the website analysis and please don't get me wrong, this is my personal opinion and I believe everyone has their own thoughts. And I myself is a person that will die without fast food.

To me what I really like about the website is the way they promote their product and the way how it interact with people. Using interaction to gain attention and buying the customer's heart.

This is another website that WOWed me. Check out the reasons below!

What I love about this site is that it uses typography as the main theme. Not only using typography, it also uses animation,narrations and infographics. So you will see lines and dots popping with words coming out.

Now why would I put this as one of a good website? Because of the art direction and the coolnesss of the animation done by the artist! It feels 3D and paper feel...check out how the animated all of the page changing and stuff! Cool!

This is one of my favourite website ever!

What's so special about this website is that it is a online drawing wall!!!
Something like online gaming but this is online doodle! Everyone is drawing on the same board and you can even see them drawing...a pen will move around when someone is drawing...and you can just pick a pen anywhere and just draw! I am so gonna visit the site everyday to doodle and also enjoy and even can comment on other work!One thing to say...the person who create this site is a genuis! MUST CHECK THIS SITE OUT!

Finally!!I can sit down and blog about my day!!!
Woke up a little bit earlier today...(10 am...it's my sem break...THE ONES SUPPOSE TO BE HIBERNATING!) and meet up Tian Ai at Sungei Wang...missing another amoi (means a girl) that she ffk me (not showing up)...sho sad...(i forgive you babe~next time...haha...)
walked around buying clothes where I...just..stand...there...........watching.......alone.....lonely.....at the corner.....cus no $$$ to buy clothes....but I bought one anyways..and another gift for my baby sister....

Went to eat...I ate toufu!!!!

Then there is one place I must must MUST go...Pavilion.....(not rich here)...I wanna go Tokyo Street!!!! So I "fan"(irritated in Chinese) Irene to bring me there....and I snapped some picture there! I is soooo pretty and packed with people...Lots of food....(so sad no maid cafe there...or there is?) you guys should really go check it out! Some pictures are not uploaded yet..cus I am using Irene's camera...BUT there is some here that I can show you...the rest...part 2~

For those who really love Japan culture and food...this is the place you really have to visit!! At Pavilion the 6th floor!!!

After all those shopping and walking...i met my uncle and it started pouring...

then we have to take the monorial back home...it was PACKED with people and so we lined up...there is these two tourists standing in front of me...then out of no where there were these bunch of people who really never learned moral (or maybe they are brainless?) cut the que..we were there..waiting for half an hour and there they are cutting ques..the "no face" part is...the tourist actually asked them to que up...and they never listen...so babaric..pushing...Imagine how would you feel if you are the one waiting at the line and with people cutting the line...and with tourist there makes me feel ashame of our country's people...!@#$%^&*(!!!please la...dont do this la...our country punya image tak ada lo....even duck knows how to line up...

But then my uncle brought me to eat durians!!!ngom ngom!!!

then went back home...and cleaned my room and moved the whole place with the help from Lily,John and Zoey..thank you guys!!!Really!!!

First, before I start anything I wanna say I AM SO SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING ANYTHING FOR SO LONG AND FOR ALL OF YOU WHO VISITED MY BLOG AND SEE NOTHING!
It has been a long long sem and very tiring sem for me...Too many assignments so little time to do!
BUT! I will update lots and lots of stuff to make up with all of you (although there may not be a lot of readers but i will still try my best to update lots and lots of stuff here) BECAUSE I AM FINALLY HAVING MY TWO WEEKS SEM BREAK!which also means...HOLIDAY!!!! WEE!!
I can finally hibernate!!!!!

Well...due to some miscalculations...i booked my flight ticket back to my hometown late..meaning i will stay where I am now for a week...alone......and so I followed dearest Cheng Tong AKA Irene or you can call her the "Sleeping Beauty"...(check out my previous post to spot her sleeping with her mask on....HAHAHAHAHAHA)...home...will be going around KL to pway~rewarding myself~

Today can be the best Thurdays ever..but also emo at the same time....
Was having a presentation this evening...presenting our art work...Worked really hard on it as everyone does...and stayed up really really late...I love my art work...It is about drama...and a story "behind the scene"...it is an infographic...
but then the comments from the lecturer is not as good...was so dissapointed...wanted to cry during the presentation but get to hold it back...and hoping my marks wont be as suckie thou...

This is Key. A new member in our house...with 6 mothers looking after him everyday. He is an abandoned dog...(I have no idea why) and he followed us home one day and just sit at the door. Brought him to see the vet that very day and also decided to keep him... Very skinny thou... and old....10 years already...that makes him minimum 70 years old (human age)...uncle...

See his face? HE WANTS MORE FOOD!

He brought the whole house to life... we will just all gather at the front door and play with him...cute... NEVER knew he can eat so much...now...he is fat! But we all loves him...A LOT! Gonna miss him a lot when we are having holidays...

Wow!Went to C2AGE today!(And for those who dont know C2age...well it is an event...GOOGLE IT!)
well anyways...it is also Joanne's hot debut as a cosplayer!!!And she did a good job...had loads of fun and saw a lot of cosplayers! Some of them are really really friendly!

Today has been a very very busy day....
I usually don't blog much about what happened for the whole day...
but yea...I am going to blog about my day today....
Things go well in the morning...but when it came to the evening...something happened(can burst my vein)...
and yea...went crazy for awhile...
at night I went back to school...and lay down in the middle of the basketball court(open air)!! how cool is that!!!
the sky is so clear that i can see stars...it has been awhile...the sky is full of them...and you know what....i saw my first shooting star in my 20 year old life....i was surprise and made a wish....
i wanted to confirm on the shooting star so i stared at the sky hoping to see another one...and yea...another one flew over my head and i saw it disappear...i made another wish...and then i saw the third one... i made 3 wishes and saw 5 shooting stars!
as i went home and thought everything shall be alright and i shall also get over what happened in the evening...i got another shocking news...
Mu Tou left me...as in he died...(my guiney pig btw...)
got really sad but it is an accident so i cant blame anyone...
will get over it soon...so no worries....
look at the bright side...the 3 wishes i wished on the shooting stars may...no...WILL come true...
hey...every girl has their childish side...right?

whoa...assignments are piling up~!! and i have no enough time to share my birthday experience!!
turning 20....feeling kinda sad...but actually i had another kind of feeling...i am a young adult!!!
i hate mixed feelings....oh well...

i thought i would have to celebrate my 20th birthday alone since my parents are over at my hometown and they were the ones who celebrate with me for the past 19 years!
but God sent me angels to celebrate with me...FRIENDS....

12 o clock midnight i was doing my assignments in my room then suddenly the whole house blackout...(they shut down the whole main switch)...so I have no choice but to go down to open it with Thomas...meanwhile i received messages and calls from friends to wish me happy birthday...so i was talking on the phone for quite awhile...then Thomas was asking me to hurry so followed him down...the living room is empty and quiet...i don't know about main switch thing and i dont want to die in such a young age...so i leave it to the guys...

then the lights went on and derrick and thomas were behind me..holding a cake which the candles were all turned into wax...so no candles...(due to i was on the phone the whole time and they cant sing a birthday song and they have to hide until i am done) so my housemates, shiki, ah shui and jason, friends derrick,thomas, kc2 and adrian sang me a song...they wanted to scare me so adrian acted as a ghost standing behind me but before he can do anything i noticed him...
then he was so emo....

then we had fun and a lot had happened that morning...funny stuff tho....

till afternoon i met up with Lynette and Sharon~!! We went Sushi Zamai and got a Rm 20 voucer!(which i ate as my lunch for today)...then off to Honeymoon for dessert!

At night went out for dinner with Thomas to secret recipe! then around 11 i got a phone call from Duan Quan and had dessert drink again!!

I got a lot of birthday wishes from my friends and families...i am really happy and had a wonderful birthday! and believe my dreams are going to come true...i wanted to thank EVERYONE for the wishes, presents and surprises!! i love you all!

the red bag is for the glider and for bonding with it's owner so the owner can carry it around.

We Toa foundation students are given a project to create a scuptur (dont know how to spell) that is around 6 foot tall...(which i am obviously not 6 foot tall)...
So we separate ourselves in groups of four...
Irene(GL), Jane, Cindy and of course me...
Sleepless nights and eye bags...we created...(see below about our process and outcome~)

What is Dweey??

Forgot to tell all of you about Dweey....it is a designer toy designed by Malaysian designers! It is a giraff! and you can actually draw and design on it! it brings out the color of yourself! Not only that...the middle part of the body is actually a magnet...you can make it as a card holder or you can stick it on your frige or some places that is metal....it will be totally cute to have a half giraff and a butt sticking out from your frige... totally worth getting one and try it out yourself! I personally think that Malaysian designers are as good as the designers over seas... Dweey is a good example...all they needed is all of Malaysian's support! Hope that toy designing will be a great hit in Malaysia's designing industry...

ps. trust me....it is not just a toy...the ''behind the scene'' of these toys is aint that easy...(designers...you know what i mean~**wink wink**)

Bet everyone loves toys....i do i do!!!toys are my favourite!
Went to toy no fun today!woke up late but luckily i made it...
from 10 am to 12 something there was a talk about how designer toys are made....
trust me....it's not easy at all....but then i love designer toys a lot!they are very special...
well...the speaker said designer toys are expensive....people will just kill you for buying a plastic which cost a lot!
but then by looking at their hard work....it is worth it...

The guy in the green cap is really good in doodling! he said he can buy a normal cap,doodle it and sell for hundreds!

Er...this is something i doodled in my scketch book for fun....while listening to the talk of course.

Around 2 pm our workshop started. we all bought a designer's toy called dweey!!

it is white...so we all have to doodle or draw on it with our own style and design!

below is something i had done...it is not that good but i am happy with my work...

When i finish drawing...we have to spray something on our work so that the paint will not go off....

but you know what....the spray doesnt work on marker....which i am using it to draw....and when you ''gepo gepo'' go spray....your work turns out like THIS!!!!!

The nose!!!! It melts!!!!!!!!!!!!

But honestly....the effect is not bad on my design... It actually works...It does give out another kind of feeling~ a little more street like...really...it is not bad right?haha...

The pink one is my friend Cheng Tong's...both of us gave out very different feelings..as you can see our personalities difference....haha....

Honestly...we are all tired....but it is really fun!!! I will be doodling more!! today is really worth it!!!

Remember about the sushi king bonaza i told you guys about in the previous posts?
and i posted about the number of plates i ate on the first to the third day?
Well...i went to sushi king(again) this afternoon for another round...and it's the last day of the bonaza...
my last record was 9 plates...can i break my record by stuffing 10 plates of sushi?

DUH!OF COURSE I BROKE MY RECORD......................NOT!

i gave up on the 8th plate actually...but seriously.....d*me full!

ok...you see...i bought a...no....two tamagotchis....its like something i really really really wanted last time...
then i found out that there is a clearance sale...only RM20 for a music version tamagotchi....Ver.6....it is dame cheap!!!!!so yea i bought it....and i took care of it like my baby.....and so my friends bought them too and it is so fun to play when we can all connect and play...then i just realize that my tamagotchi is the dumbest among my friends...not funny...seriously...i took care of it!!!
then one day my tamagotchi threw a tantrum...no matter how i press the buttons....the tamagotchi wont respond...then the screen show me this!

YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL????

the tamagotchi actually leave me!!!!!

and all my friend's tamagotchi is like...still there....

and mine just gave me a letter and leave me!!

Why i love Sushi King....
THE RM2 BONAZA OF COURSE!!!
for the past 3 days my friends and i have been eating sushi for just RM2 per plate!!! So yeap...everyday sushi for me!!!
The most enjoyable moments are.....the salmons~<3.....and beside the salmons.....we do look like a bunch of barbarians....you know what i mean....

For the first day i get to finish 5 plates.....actually...my appetite is not that big....so yea...got really full after 5 plates.....
For the second day....i manage to finish 8 plates!!!and they are all salmons!!!!!!! yea i know....fat!
Third day.....hee hee... 9 plates for me...i can imagine whats my mum's facial expression now....sorry mum i ate too much....but what can i do??the salmons are talking to me.....''eat me~~~eat me~~''
